At https://ohnesteuer.com, I keep track of the small purchases that pile up from edits like this, so the action set, brushes, and stock image mentioned in the post felt like a very real cost. What stuck with me is how much the bubble layer adds, because without it the cutout would probably look flat instead of underwater. I’ve tried similar composites and always underestimate the time spent blending translucent pieces so they don’t look pasted on.
